PNI
"Every disease has its cause that no remedy will ever cure."
Hipokrates
It is common knowledge nowadays that there is a strong relationship between soma (body) and psyche (mind). The new branch of science was called psychoneuroimmunology. PNI deals with the way our emotions are transferred to the informational molecules as well as with the influence it has on the defence system of the organism. There are at least 3 systems responsible for transferring emotions onto the physical level: the endocrine system, the nervous system and informational molecules. The laboratory analysis shows that some of the nerve fibres end on the surface of the white blood cells. It proves that the white blood cells receive information directly from the nervous system. Thus, the information that comes from the brain influences the physiology. The white blood cells constitute an essential part of the immune system. They neutralize bacteria and cancerous cells. Your thoughts, emotions and your behaviour influence your health through the nervous system.
"If I told my patients to raise the level of immunoglobulins or T cytotoxic lymphocites, they wouldn't know how to do that. But I can teach them, how to love themselves and others truly. The changes described above would follow automatically then. It is a fact: Love heals."
dr Bernie Siegel "Love, Medicine and Miracles"
Thanks to that knowledge new psychological methods have been developed. They help the patient fight the illness effectively and defeat it. The methods applied in the Clinic of Recovery are confirmed, safe and effective. They help the patient through probably the most difficult experience in his or her life. They are taught how to cope with the illness on their own, not only now, after hearing the diagnosis, but also in future when they feel threatened with the spectre of relapse. Thanks to those methods the immune system gets stronger and the defence forces of the organism are released. In the Clinic of Recovery the therapist is a patients' guide on a path of their emotions, relations with the relatives, attitude towards themselves, their beliefs and behaviour. By trying to understand yourself and working on yourself, you can perform a miracle.
